Align Probiotic

The Align probiotic can be found both online and in some corner drug stores, making it a convenient choice for many people. It contains only one strain of bacteria, but touts it as a proprietary, trademarked blend called Binfantis, which is actually a strain of Bifidobacterium infantis.
Bacteria Strains: Bifidobacterium infantis 35624 (proprietary blend
from manufacturer)
Delivery Mechanism: Comes in capsule form. Align also has a proprietary delivery mechanism that appears to be much like the enteric coating of competing brands, which allows the bacteria to survive stomach acid and arrive intact to the intestines.
Benefit: The biggest benefit to the Align probiotic is that it comes from Proctor and Gamble – a well known company that has been around for years. It also has a ton of positive reviews and you can sometimes find it at your local drug store. Although I personally prefer more balance probiotics that contain several strains, the abundant positive reviews of this land it at the #8 spot on the list.
Consumer Reviews:
by Lindsay – If I didn’t know better, I’d call this a miracle! I’ve tried a lot of supposed cures, but none have ever worked, and some even made me feel worse. My doctor even kept trying to attribute my illness to anxiety. Well, I tried Align as a last ditch effort and I’m very impressed by it. Within a few days I started noticing a positive difference, and a week later I was much improved. I hadn’t felt that great since I was a teenager.
by John – I read about this product in a magazine story featuring Proctor & Gamble. I had had bowel problems for years and had to really watch my diet. I gave Align a try and within a short period of time I was back to normal after years of dealing with digestive problems. I now eat anything I want and digest it just fine.
